Walmart's New Coupon Policy!
The news around the blogosphere lately has been Walmart's new Coupon Policy! Yes, NEW Coupon Policy! So what does this new policy entail? Here's the breakdown:
Walmart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):
•Manufacturers' coupons
•Print-at-home internet coupons
◦Must be legible, have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them, have a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and have a scannable bar code.
•Competitors' coupons that feature a specific item for a specified price
◦for example, $2.99
•Soft drink container caps
•Checkout coupons
◦(also called "Catalinas") that are printed at our competitors' registers, have "Manufacturer Coupon" with specific requirements printed on them, a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and a scannable bar code.
Walmart does not accept the following coupons:
•Print-at-home Internet coupons that require no purchase
•Competitors' coupons for dollars/cents or percentage off, buy one get one free, and double- or triple-value coupons
The following are guidelines and limitations:
•Only one coupon per item is permitted.
•Coupons must have an expiration date and be redeemed prior to expiration.
•Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.
•Walmart only accepts coupons for merchandise that we sell.
•Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase.
•We accept the following with Customer Service Supervisor/Management approval:
◦40 or more coupons
◦Any coupon over $20
◦$50 or more in coupons in one transaction
Now we can only hope that the cashiers and managers have been thoroughly trained on this new policy. In any case, you can download their policy HERE, and print it out, so you have it, if a problem arrises the next time you head to Walmart.
I was floored to see that if a coupon exceeds Walmart's Price, you will either receive cash back or money off your additional items (overage!)
~ I think I will be asking one or two of my good friends to come with me to test out this new policy at our local Walmarts here in RI. I'll let you know how it goes!

Set For Surgery....Again
We are once again set for another surgery. This time it will be arthroscopic knee surgery for Baylee. Tuesday morning, we will be headed to Hasbro Children's Hospital. The only good thing this time, is that we will be allowed to go home after surgery, no overnight stay. It's only because we have been through 8 previous surgeries that the doctor is allowing us to go home. I guess it's because we are now considered veterans of post-op recovery.
She has what the doctor calls Chonoromalacia, which in laymen's terms, means that the knee cap is not sitting correctly on the knee, causing extreme pain. Her knee pain, knee buckling, and locking is now a daily occurance, falling down stairs, is the norm. I am hoping that this surgery will correct the problem once and for all.
I will be setting up some posts for Tuesday in the AM, and hopefully will be able to catch up later in the day when we are finally home. I'll let you all know how things are going throughout the day on Facebook, for all of you who have written. Thanks for all the prayers!

Here are some tips to help you earn more Swagbucks. If you're not yet a member of Swagbucks, you'll want to make sure you sign up as soon as possible! I paid for half of my Christmas presents last year with Swagbucks alone! Many people are earning, and savig them up for new computers! Yes you heard me correctly new computers! I, myself have earned enough Amazon gift cards to save over 60% on my Holiday Shopping!
1. Use Swagbucks to search the web.
Instead of using google use swag bucks. I usually find what I am looking for, and if not, I just switch back to google. When you search using swag bucks you randomly win bucks. Usually once in a 24 hour period I find.
2. Install the Swagbucks toolbar.
I can’t believe I didn’t do this months ago. I installed the toolbar and I usually win several swag bucks a day for doing nothing! It will just pop up on your computer screen that you won a swagbuck or two!
3. Purchase items through Swagbucks.
The swag bucks website usually has incentive programs if you buy through their affiliate links, where you will get one or two or 5 Swagbucks per dollar spent at various websites.
4. Trade in your old Cell phones and video games for Swagbucks.
Yep, it depends upon the age of your cell phone and the type of video game, but you'll get a varied amount of Swagbucks for each item you trade in. You simply choose which item from a drop down bar, and once you find your item, you'll see how many Swagbucks it's worth. Then you can print out prepaid postage, and wait until they receive it!
5. Find The Swag Codes!
These are released approximately once a day and they can appear anywhere, at any time, throughout the Swag Bucks website, including the Official Swag Bucks blog, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter page, Flickr page; and affiliated partner sites. When you find the code, enter it in the swag code box on the site and earn bucks.

A Whirlwind Vacation ~ 5 Parks in 5 Days!
No sooner did we arrive in Orlando, when we headed to Sea World. My girls were in awe of all the animals, and the warm weather. Oh, and I am so thankful that I remembered to pack my charger for my camera, because we managed to kill the battery each and everyday!
Day 5, our last day in Orlando, we visited Animal Kingdom. This was a great shaded park, so it didn't really feel as hot as it was. Of course Orlando was experiencing record setting highs for this time of year while we were there. This was a first for all of us, we all have never been to Animal Kingdom. This park was really nice, Jennicka got to go on the Mount Everest Roller coaster with Daddy, and she was super excited that she went on it twice, and didn't fell the least bit sick. I ended up with over 1100 pictures to create a new picture book, to which I will be doing next week. We were able to get up close with Tigers, and Giraffes, and lots of other animals.
So all in all, it was a fantastic vacation, a whirlwind trip, and absolutely exhausting! I have had a couple of days to get acclimated back to New England weather, and get caught up on all of my emails.
Again, a big huge thank you goes out to my wonder "Half-Parents" for treating us all to this trip. It is one, I know none of us will ever forget, and if the memories get a little blurred....we have over 1100 pictures to help us all remember!
